Sometimes, Take a break

January is almost done and my well of blog posts seemed to having been running dry. Welcome to 2019, thank you for joining me on this journey. Last year I was more active as a blogger, but that was also because last year I was filled with more boredom from life in general. Work was boring and that made me want to go harder with my solace from the real world, which turns out to be writing.

On my 25th birthday, I decided to quit “corporate work” and try my hand at something that was destined to keep me busy and totally excite me. So on the 27th of November I gave myself the best gift ever, I handed in my resignation letter. Thankfully I was privileged enough to find work by DC Talk Radio (90.9FM) as soon as my notice was done.

That is the reason I have not been able to post on my blog of late, I have however been active on YouTube creating videos of the content I’ve been making for radio. Which truth be told is the most fun I’ve had in a long time.

I sleep probably 4 hours at night and I can’t complain because my days are spent doing something I’m actively passionate about. I’m more happy now than I was when I posted everyday. I apologize for not posting as often but hopefully now I will be able to fill you in on my new journey rather than just try to not bore you as I attempt to entertain myself throughout the day.

On my first day I discovered I love producing content and apparently that’s all it takes to become an understudy to the producer. I’ve hardly been here two months but I’ve learnt so much and hopefully from here on out I can share what that actually looks like to you my friends that enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing.

More is to come, but if you love visuals, feel free to check my YouTube page
